The OST is a series of standardized assessments administered to public school students in Ohio in grades 3-8 and high school to measure their proficiency in English language arts (ELA) and mathematics, with science added in 2024.
The OST typically takes place in the spring of each year, with specific dates varying by grade level and subject. Check your child’s school or the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) website for the latest schedule.
