The TALON® medium-sized tactical robot, from our #WaveRelay Ecosystem partner QinetiQ, is the first Interoperability Profile (#IOP) fielded robotic system to have successfully gone through Army Test and Evaluation Command testing.Equipped with the #MPU5, these UGVs provide increased situational awareness and timely critical information to their tactical teams as they perform a variety of dangerous missions, including explosive ordnance disposal (#EOD), hazardous materials handling (#HAZMAT) and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (#CBRN) threat assessment.

Persistent recently supported the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Radiological Assistance Program Region 6 (RAP-6) in conducting Preventive Radiological Search Operations (PRND) which included operating stationary and mobile radiological sensors for the United States Air Force Academy Graduation. Our engineers and the RAP team employed MPU5s and Integrated Sector Antennas to network and share sensor data back to an operations center resulting in a real-time common operating picture needed to monitor and react. #DOE #USAF #AF #WaveRelay #MPU5

Persistent Systems supported the United States Air Force in Europe and Air Forces Africa's (USAFE-AFAFRICA) EOD training for airmen across Europe earlier this month.During the 3-day course, Airmen integrated the newly implemented ShadowBox Alpha and Delta mobile servers running the Android Tactical Awareness Kit (TAK) technology with the MPU5 software-defined radios and Klas Government AN/PSC-15 secure fly-away kits to enhance their communication capabilities, replacing older models.#MPU5 #AirForce #WaveRelay #EOD #TAK #Training
